The mindset of "its food, so I can eat it" is no longer valid; we live in a world where foods are processed, fruits and veggies are sprayed with pesticides to protect them from pests yet we as a species have little consideration of the full ingredient list and what they entail, or what is in pesticides and what affects these have on us.
